New Social Network Fuels Creativity, Opportunity For Songwriters

Here’s how is works: Songwriters sign up at dittypad.com, where they can upload up to five songs at a time. By requesting and reviewing other members’ songs, their own submissions are in turn fed into the Ditty Pad community for peer review. This cross-pollination leads to friendships formed, songs improved and exposure generated. A real-time “Top Ten List” on the homepage promotes the highest-rated songs.
“It does little good for you to only play your songs for your dog,” added Bradshaw. “He or she uncritically likes everything that you do.”
