Meet IRN’s Executive Advisory Committee at the 4th ETOT London Summit 2012 | Oct 10-12

With the numerous regulatory changes on the horizon, the commodity derivatives and emissions trading industries are encountering, it is critical to all energy trading business to be more than just aware of what’s changing.

Here’s an overview of how this year’s schedule will look:

Wednesday 10th October:

With a regulatory focus looking at exactly how the array of the regulatory changes will impact energy trading businesses. The discussions will examine what changes need to be made to energy trading operations and technology, how to meet the new requirements, the timeframe, and most importantly, the practical elements of implementation across the back office and technology. Speakers will be from the European Commission, FSA, EFET, ISDA , and a number of other regulatory bodies as well as C-Level speakers from energy trading companies and banks.

Thursday 11th October

Broken down into two live streams. Stream 1 will focus on Operations and Business issues such as clearing and settlement, confirmations and reconciliations, operational risk, and collateral management. Speakers will be COOs and Heads of Back Office from the most established energy trading businesses and banks. Stream 2 will focus on all technology related issues such as system selection and integration, interoperability across platforms and systems, risks within technology projects, data management and security. Speakers on this stream will be CIOs and Global Heads of IT also from energy trading companies and banks.

Friday 12th October

There will be exclusive 2 hour workshops on key areas within Technology, Operational Risk, Trade Documentation and Legalities, and Clearing, Settlement and Collateral Management.
