Wasteful Consumption Patterns on the Radio?

Akron based indie label Intolerance Records gears up for a radio campaign for shock rockers 'Wasteful Consumption Patterns' impending Halloween release date.

Sept. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Intolerance Records staff have been in contact with several radio promotion companies, in preparation for the upcoming release of Wasteful Consumption Patterns second album ''Khrome''. With a street date of October 31st, 2012 rapidly approaching, plans are under way for a full radio promotional onslaught.

''We have been in contact with individuals who have done radio promotion for acts like A Perfect Circle, Kanye West, Killers, Green Day, Coldplay and more.'' said David Gorby Jr.,  Senior Vice President of Sales for Intolerance Records.

Gorby went on to explain; ''WCP have a certain vocabulary that doesn't go over too well on the radio.  Audio Engineers had to spend a little more time in the editing room, but I'm pleased to announce: We now have clean versions of all the singles ready for radio play.''

Gorby continues, ''KXLU, a Los Angeles based FM radio station, has already been playing WCP's track 'Nightmare' on Friday nights." The fact that 'Nightmare' happens to be the only clean single on Khrome is undoubtedly no coincidence.

Listener reception of the track went well with several requests following the airplay. Promoter's are equally optimistic regarding the playability of the singles. One Promoter was quoted as saying, "With the right promotion, WCP will leave a stain on the history of musical evolution."
