Sept. 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Local author writes user friendly guide to voting for everyday Americans.

Evanston, IL –“Me, The People”, The tools to help you decide on and then vote for the next President of the United States of America.

“It was funny,  and I learned things about the government and the election process I never knew – I’m gonna vote now!”-A Reader

With the General Election kicking off and the Debates soon to follow, Marketing Manager Lisa Fontana, of Just For Fun Productions releases a guide on voting and the election process.

“Welcome to a world where politics are friendly and fun!  If you have an interest in voting, but can’t take the “politics” of it all, you will enjoy this guide. If you ever thought you would get more involved if only you could do it on your own terms, now you can. If you are unsure of politics or how the government works, this guide will change that. What you won’t find here is the negativity and the name calling. Instead, chuckle your way through as we talk about the tools you can use to confidently cast your vote for the next president of the United States - or choose not to, because that is your right too. And since we all have busy lives this guide was designed to be read in between ‘living it.’ ”-Lisa Fontana

The author leads you through the Voting Process, the Media Spin, How to Have a Political Conversation Without Bloodshed and to choosing the politics that are right for you.

Before its release Friday, “Me, The People” had pre-orders for over 400 copies, and author Lisa Fontana has been set to interview with several network media outlets. Released first as an e-book “Me, The People” will be available mid September in paperback. The book lists for $2.99.  Says Fontana, “There were no helpful books out there for people like me (A 35 year old American who had never voted), so I was left to figure it out for myself.  I didn’t write it to make money.  I wrote it to share what I learned with anyone else who might be trying to figure it out too.”
