Sept. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- The Charleston Hospitality Group has announced today the appointment of Scott Vosburgh as Executive Chef of Eli's Table.  Chef Scott joined the Charleston Hospitality Group's culinary team last year.

Chef Scott brings over ten years of award winning experience to the intimate American eatery, Eli's Table.Chef Scott proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.It was while traveling in the Mediterranean, Persian Gulf, Middle East, and Caribbean as an aircraft director on the USS John F. Kennedy that Chef Scott developed his interest in finding unique flavors and ingredients.This eventually led him under the direction of Master Chef Roy Yamaguchi, best known for his Hawaiian fusion cuisine and Iron Chef America and Top Chef appearances. Chef Scott gained most of his proficiency and expertise under Chef Yamaguchi.

Chef Scott eventually became the Executive Sous Chef and Corporate trainer for Yamaguchi’s restaurants in the California and Florida markets. Scott soon took his daring flavors to Azia restaurant in Greenville, SC. It was there in the Upstate where he won the Executive Chef Competition and presided over kitchen operations before sliding into the Executive Chef role at Oscar’s of Summerville.

Charleston Hospitality Group welcomed Chef Vosburgh with open arms in February of 2012. Scott was Executive Chef of Tabbuli and contributed to much of the Mediterranean Bistro’s success.  Moving forward, Chef Scott is currently taking his unique approach to dinner and putting it in Charleston Hospitality Group’s chic restaurant, Eli’s Table.

Eli's Table features a new menu offering bold, worldly flavors while using fresh and local ingredients.  Named after the owner of Charleston Hospitality Group’s son Eli, the restaurant is sentimental for many reasons.
