LAGbook Partners With Dominion Comics To Bring Local African Comic Strip Contents on Social Network
African Social Networking Giant, Ladies And Gentlemen book (LAGbook) today announced its partnership with Dominion Comics to bring local African Comic Strip Contents to its over 300,000 Registered Members.
Dominion Comics is an African-based comic book and graphic design company headed by the 21 year old University of Lagos graduate, Kehinde 'Kenny' Allen. Dominion Comics today debuts its first comic strips 'HADIZA Twelve' on Africa's fastest growing social network, LAGbook.
According to Kenny Allen of Dominion Comics, "We at Dominion are working on this little yet amazing comic strip series titled HADIZA Twelve. We are aware that the internet is fast penetrating the African continent and would serve as an excellent medium to get dedicated readers."
"Our partnership with LAGbook will help realize our target and scale for the near future. So we've decided to roll our debut comic strip series HADIZA on LAGbook's Comic Strip module indefinitely for free. Though this will only be free to registered users of LAGbook", Kenny Allen continued, "We'll also feature more comic strip series from Dominion in the near future on LAGbook's Comic Strip module".
According to Chidi Nwaogu, Co-CEO at LAGbook, "We discovered we had a growing user-size of young men within the ages 18 to 25, and this is the same age range of those who love Manga and Anime. Sometimes I sit and watch full grown adult men discuss Naruto series after series, and I'm amazed at their enthusiasm for comic strips."
"Let's not deny the fact that the world is dominated by nerds. Today is pretty okay to be a nerd. I'm a nerd, but a social one, one with good fashion sense. Take a lot at the movie series Spiderman, they are sold out in the Box Office in their first week of release. Who said nerd aren't everywhere?", Chidi continued.
"We've rolled out Dominion's debut comic strip series HADIZA. The comic strips aren't complete though. They will be released day after day to keep registered members coming back each day for more.", Chika Nwaogu, Co-CEO and Co-President at LAGbook said.
Chika continued, "Kenny is a good friend to the social company and indeed a very talented artist and graphic designer. I'm not trying to be biased with my words. There's a popular saying that one's work speaks for itself and that's what HADIZA is here to do; to prove beyond any doubt that Nigerians are truly blessed with talents and creativity".
LAGbook is an African-based social networking website targeted specifically at the youth demographic (18-30), but permits registration of people 13 and older.
