-- Albuquerque, NM – This past weekend, Prudential Consulting, Inc. and Del Norte Sports and Wellness co-hosted a very successful basketball tournament for the profit of American Cancer Society. 100% of the proceeds raised from the event went directly towards ACS. The tournament comprised of twelve teams and was conducted in a bracket format. The winning team was Too Smooth, after consistently playing for the four-hour tournament. The event also involved a chance drawing with over $1,000 in prizes. The prizes included a 3-month pass to Sports and Wellness, gift cards to Olo Frozen Yogurt Studio and other restaurants around the city, an LED television and much more. The event also had food sponsored by Little Caesars Pizza and beverages for all those attended. Lucy Lobo made a visit and entertained players and attendees from all over the community. 93.3 KOBFM supported the event by MC-ing the games.
The event was a great success in both the participation of the teams and the amount of people who were present. Prudential Consulting, Inc. looks forward to organizing and implementing several charitable events in the future and looks to benefiting the community in every way possible.
“We are glad to have been a part of helping raise money for the American Cancer Society. It is important to us as a company to create opportunity for the employees, not only in regards to their careers but also in giving them a way to make an impact on the community,” explains Matthew Yassen, President at Prudential Consulting, Inc.
