Aug. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Due to the increasing market need for a certified municipal waterworks filtration product line, LAKOS Separator and Filtration Solutions has appointed Randy Delenikos as the new Vice President of the Waterworks Division. This move comes in preparation for a new line of municipal waterworks separators from LAKOS. LAKOS has appointed Delenikos to lead a dedicated effort to further develop the marketing potential for filtration in this evolving industry.

With demands for improved water quality and increasing regulations to meet, the municipal market is challenged to satisfy these requirements with reduced budgets and staffing. LAKOS Separators perform without filters to clean or replace, and without the maintenance shutdowns required of traditional systems. The new line of LAKOS municipal separators can meet the demands for clean city water, removing sand, grit, and scale from pumped water systems, while remaining an economical solution.

Delenikos, who has worked in the filtration industry for over 35 years, has held a number of prominent positions at LAKOS including Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of the Groundwater and Industrial divisions. His experience in training and educating sales and distribution teams, as well as working with private water companies and engineering firms, will be an invaluable resource during the launch of the new waterworks line of separators.

Delenikos’ expertise will play a valuable role during the new municipal filtration launch, which features an all new NSF-61 certified series of separators. No other separator manufacturer has offered a product with NSF-61 certification for higher flow rates.

The groundbreaking PWC Series from LAKOS will feature individual models for flow rates from 200 gpm to over 2,000 gpm, with options for manifolding to accommodate even greater flow rates and/or variable-flow systems. The waterworks separators will be made in both vertical and low profile configurations to accommodate piping and installation requirements. Inlet and outlet connections will be ANSI-flanged and the inlet will be positioned for easy connection to turbine and centrifugal pump discharge piping.

Delenikos is an honors graduate of Fresno State and an active board member in several water related trade associations. To reach Randy Delenikos, please contact LAKOS Headquarters at (559)255-1601 or email him at randyd@lakos.com.
