Aug. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- August 2012, Washington County, Florida –The DogSmith Dog Training and Pet Care Company is proud to announce their new Director of Training, Angelica Steinker.  "We're very excited Angelica is joining the DogSmith team," said Niki Tudge, President and founder of The DogSmith.  "She brings a wealth of dog training expertise and has a proven track record of success.  Each DogSmith Franchise Owner will benefit greatly from Angelica’s experience."

Steinker is the President and founder of Courteous Canine Dog Training School in Tampa Fl, where she specializes in dog aggression, agility, rally obedience, learning and behavior.  She will be adding DogSmith Pet Care services to her current programs in addition to her role as Director of Training.

Steinker is a published author in the field of dog training and agility with her books, Agility Success: Training and Competing with Your Dog in the Winning Zone and Click and Play Agility. She is also a founding member and on the steering committee of the Pet Professionals Guild, the association for force-free trainers and animal professionals and she serves on the Advisory Board and instructs at the Companion Animal Sciences Institute.

In addition to her books, Steinker has been published in the peer reviewed Journal of Applied Companion Animal Behavior and the Journal of Veterinary Behavior and her articles have appeared in the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Chronicle, Dog Newsletter, Dog & Handler, Animal Trainer Magazine, Dog Sport Magazine, Dalmatian Quarterly, and Clean Run.

Steinker has a Master's degree in Education which has served as the foundation for her continued certifications in dog training including endorsement by National Dog Obedience Instructors and the International Institute of Applied Companion Animal Behavior.  Steinker has presented programs and talks at conferences across the country including the famous Camp Gone to the Dogs in Vermont, the Association of Pet Dog Trainers Annual Conference, BARK Agility Camp and Karen Pryor's Clicker Expo.
