Are you are terrible at remembering peoples names? Have you ever had someone approach you and call you by your first name and you can't remember their name? How did you feel? Now you can fix it

Aug. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- When was the last time you ran into someone you knew at the grocery store, had a nice chat and when you walked away you felt embarrassed because you knew them but couldn't remember even their first name.

This is a common problem with people and happens all the time.  Most people have the notion that they have a bad memory because it happens so often to them.  What they don'[t understand is it is not a bad memory, they just haven't been shown the correct way to organize it in your head so it is automatic.

Try this test...If I were to tell you "Do not think about a BIG GRAY ELEPHANT; don't do it".  What did you just do? Did you picture a big gray elephant in your head, even after you were instructed not too?

What about when you tell a child not to do something and they do just the opposite?  Who's fault is it - Yours or the child?  Let's take a look at an example.  You tell your child with a very stern voice "Do Not run in the street" and ten minutes later they run in the street.  Who's fault is it?  You might be thinking it it the child's fault but it is really yours.  Here is why.

We all think in pictures and once we have a picture in your mind, you can recall it. Remember the big gray elephant?  Now if we look at the example of don't run in the street, what does the picture of the word "don't" look like? Can you picture it? What about the rest of the statement "run in the street".  Can you see that?  Most likely the answer is Yes.

So the child's brain can't create the picture of the word "don't" and only sees the picture "run in the street" and they do it willingly, only to be scalded minutes later..  By the way,  if you are wondering what to say, then tell them what you want them to do which is "stay on the sidewalk" and they will do it most every time.

The impact of this free course is to help you implement a system that locks in your ability to recall peoples names and impress them months or years down the road.

It's not your memory that needs help, it is a process. For example, can you name the numbers from one through twenty?  Can you name them forwards and backwards?  Again, the answer is yes and that is proof that you do not have a bad memory.
