SCEA Issues Request for Information (RFI) for CEBoK II

Aug. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- The Society of Cost Estimating and Analysis (SCEA) has issued a Request for Information as the initial step in the software development process for a new training and reference material. SCEA’s current training/reference material is known as the Cost Estimating Body of Knowledge (CEBoK®), a program that provides training briefs, sample questions, additional internal resources (including glossary and bibliography) and external resources, in one package. SCEA is interested in updating both the content and the software deployment of the program. SCEA has established a committee of representatives from various government agencies to review the RFI responses. The deadline for responses is 1 October 2012.

The objective of the Request for Information is to gain input about software functionality currently available in the marketplace, solicit interest in updating the current version of CEBoK, and solicit estimates on the time and rough order of magnitude total price to develop and deliver the new product.
