New LED Lighting Facts Announcement

Lighting Industry standards and how to properly select a quality LED light bulb.

Aug. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- We are pleased to announce the special recognition that we recently were given from LED Lighting Facts®, a program of the U.S. Department of Energy for solid-state lighting (LEDs). We will continue to strive to provide pertinent educational information to our potential and current clientele who are searching for LED products. The LED Lighting Facts program is a great way to compare and select only the highest quality of LED lighting products to ensure complete satisfaction.

There have been many on-going complaints in the lighting industry about the fluctuating quality of high-priced LED products. We are partnering with the LED Lighting Facts initiative as a way, not only to go green and save energy and costs, but also to assure our valued customers that they are not purchasing products with falsified claims or inferior quality. Priority Lighting has quality tested the LED bulbs that we sell to our growing customer base so that we sell only the top-grade LED products that are on the market. We will continue to research LED products, to supply only the highest quality products at the most competitive prices, and to support the manufacturers who also take the LED Lighting Facts pledge.

Since the market has an increasing number of LED products available, it can be difficult to choose the product that will deliver full customer satisfaction and perform to expectations. Lighting manufacturers who take the pledge agree to use the LED lighting facts label to disclose performance results according to accepted industry standards. The LED Lighting Facts program gives lighting buyers essential information for evaluating and selecting satisfactory LED products. Realizing that inferior quality LEDs can discourage consumers from purchasing solid-state lighting, Priority Lighting is proud to be a part of this vital program to increase the sales volume of LED products which ultimately has the potential to reduce U.S. energy use by one-fourth.
