Aug. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Hawthorne, NJ – August 28, 2012 – Akadema endorser Liam Hendriks pitched 9 strong innings against the Seattle Mariners, on Monday, August 27th.  Hendriks allowed only 3 hits, while striking out 6.  Hendriks, who is still looking for his first MLB win, pitched against Felix Hernandez, who is a candidate for the Cy Young Award.  Hendriks, 23, was born in Perth, Australia and signed with the Twins as a free agent in 2007.  Following the 2011 season, Hendriks was named the Minnesota Twins’ Minor League Pitcher of the Year.  Hendriks attended Sacred Heart College in Australia, and made his MLB Debut on September 6, 2011 with the Twins.  Hendriks uses an ATR 32, and is part of Akadema’s endorsement team.
