Greer State Bank Appoints Boyd and Williams as Senior Vice Presidents

Aug. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Greer State Bank proudly announces the promotion of two banking veterans to senior vice president positions.  Jim Boyd has been named as Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Manager responsible for the activities, direction and results of the commercial team at Greer State Bank.  Jim has been with the bank for five years and has been involved in the banking industry for 19 years.  He is a graduate of The Citadel, the South Carolina Bankers School, and the School of Banking at Louisiana State University (LSU).  Within the Greer community, Jim is a board member and Chairman of Greer Community Ministries, Co-President of the Riverside High School Athletic Booster Club, a member of the Greer Chamber of Commerce Leadership Committee, and a member of Greer First Presbyterian Church.  
               
Greer State Bank also appointed Tommy Williams as Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of the North Main Street location in Greer.  Tommy is responsible for the daily operation of the branch and all lending functions that occur at that location.  He has been with Greer State Bank his entire 21 year banking career.  Tommy received his undergraduate business degree from Furman University and a master’s degree from the University of South Carolina.  He is also a graduate of the South Carolina Bankers School.
