BMWs are high performance vehicles that require specialized care. BMW Dash V2.0

   When a service light becomes lit on the dashboard of a BMW a code is recorded on the cars' computer. The BMW V2.0 is connected to the computer through a connection point at the bottom of the dash and the code will be displayed on the screen of the tool. The code helps a qualified mechanic identify the reason why the service light turned on in the first place. The BMW Dash V2.0 also allows the mechanic to scan the other units of the car that record data on the computer. Once errors have been reviewed and corrected the mechanic can clear the errors from the cars computer which will stop the service light from turning on.

D-Can Scanner

   The D-Can scanner for BMW vehicles is used on all models of BMW that were manufactured after 1998. This tool is used for diagnosing problems with the vehicle and for adding or correcting programming on the BMW computer board. Reports can be run using the D-Can Scanner with either high or low speed connections which provides flexibility when working with older vehicles.

   The BMW scanner when connected to the car can provide data on several items. The identification of the car's VIN number is on the computer and will be read by this scanner. Odometer readings can be reported by the scanner and compared to the actual mileage on the dashboard odometer. Any errors that have occurred that registered with the onboard computer will be reported by the BMW scanner
