Idol, Voice Star Frenchie Davis To Star in New Musical

Frenchie Davis, who gained national attention on the second season of American Idol and this past season of The Voice on NBC, will star in the premier of the new musical God Doesn"t. Mean You Get To Live Forever.in New York.
 
Aug. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Frenchie Davis, who gained national attention on the second season of American Idol and this past season of The Voice on NBC, will star in the premier of the new musical God Doesn"t. Mean You Get To Live Forever.

The December 2nd Premier, which will be be a red carpet benefit gala for vocal and instrumental music programs in Harlem, will be held at the Schomburg Center Langston Hughes Theatre in New York.

Davis plays a pop star who attempts to lure a gospel musician from the church with her charm and alternate views on life.  

The musical also stars legendary preacher Dr. James A. Forbes Jr., cited by Ebony Magazine as one the greatest preachers in America, and former Duke Ellington Orchestra musician, Gregory Charles Royal, who also authored the work.
