-- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Marek Bute, an associate in the Las Vegas office, began serving his term last week as President of the Board of Directors for Aid for Aids of Nevada (AFAN). AFAN provides support and advocacy for adults and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS in southern Nevada. AFAN works to reduce HIV infection through prevention education to eliminate fear, prejudice and the stigma associated with the disease.

Bute said. “Serving as interim president for the last few months has been amazing and I look forward to working with a dedicated board and executive director to achieve all of our goals in the next year. Snell & Wilmer supports the communities they serve and I feel privileged to be serving this organization and community.”
