MIW Foundation organized mega health checkup camp at Patiala with support of Supreme Infrastructure

Aug. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- MIW Foundation with support of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. conducted a FREE Health Check-Up Camp on Sunday, August 26, 2012 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 2:00 pm at Village kalian, Nabha Road, Supreme Toll Tax Barrier, Patiala (Punjab). The camp was honored by the presence of S. Surjeet Singh Rakhra (Rural Development and Panchayat Minister Punjab).
Doctors such as gynecologist, Eye Specialist, medicine specialist, Acupressure specialist & Anti Drug Specialist participated in the Health Camp. Since some of these doctors were already known to the patients, they were happy to get their services close to their home, about 350 patients availed the services. Apart from doctor’s consultation, free medicines were also given to the patients based on their prescription. The health camp also included Anthropometry (Height, Weight, Chest Measurement).
The camp focused on testing of blood sugar level, monitoring of blood pressure, eye checkup and many other minor tests conducted by eminent panel of doctors for the underprivileged people. Few Patients recommended by the Specialist doctor have been sent to Hospital for Eye Operation free of cost.
Commenting on this initiative Mr. Ashish Bhutani, Managing Trustee of MIW Foundation said, “We have been regularly conducting various Health Care initiatives across the country with a Support of Supreme Infrastructure India Ltd. It’s our Endeavour to improve the quality of life through such health camps and drives. We are proud to drive such initiatives for the well-being of the society with aim to make basic healthcare accessible to all.”
