-- MTS Management Group is proud to announce that country music artist Doug Briney will be performing at the Alaska State Fair this Thursday. His performance will be at 2pm local time on the Jolly Roger Stage, located at Inner Spring Loop in Palmer, Alaska. The solo acoustic set will include songs from Doug's debut CD, "It's All Country," including his 2 indie chart hits, "More Than Just a Farm" and the title track. Other acts appearing at the 12-day-long Alaska State Fair this year include Big and Rich, Jodee Messina, and Gary Allan. For more information, visit AlaskaStateFair.org.
"This performance at the Alaska State Fair puts an exclamation point on a fantastic 6 months for Doug," said Michael Stover of MTS Management Group, Doug's manager. "In a very short time, Doug is becoming a very sought after performer in his region, having already performed at Rodeo Alaska, the Bear Paw Festival, and singing the National Anthem for his hometown Anchorage Bucs. When you add in the success of his west coast motorcycle tour last month, I'd say big things are happening for Doug Briney."
Doug Briney, also known as the Alaskan Cowboy, is a 2012 Independent Country Music Association Award nominee and a Southern Star Network Indie Artist of the Year nominee. He lives in Anchorage with his wife and children, where he is also a pastor at the Cowboy Church of Anchorage. For more information, visit DougBriney.com.
