New programs now include Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai Boxing.
The new look includes a new 500 square foot open mat space, pull up bars, state of the art total body vibration machines, an eliptical machine, new pads, gear training dummies and a custiom made fully enclosed Mixed Martial Arts Cage created by "Kagepanel". What was once classified as a martial arts "Dojo" can now be best described as a full service combat arts training center. Trainees of the MMA program also enjoy the added benefit of an overall health and fitness assessment which includes height, weight and body composition measurments, as well as fitness consultations. September marks the one year anniversary for the business. The one year anniversary will be celebrated by the start of new programs such as a Brazilian Jujitsu and Muay Thai class. They begin the month celebration on September first with a Women's Awareness and Self Protection Clinic (W.A.S.P.). Then from September to Christmas The Academy of Combat will be offering deals, such as the purchase of two months of training in Brazilian Jujitsu or Muay Thai will get one month free of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) classes. When someone pays up front for two months of MMA classes they can get one month free. They will also be running a program on Facebook where potential members can pay for 3 months for only $200 when they present a coupon or chit, that can be printed directly from their facebook page. The Academy of Combat Application Techniques is also a registered instructional facility for American Red Cross Training. From September on the training center will offer intermittent American Red Cross classes in CPR, First Aid and AED certifications. The owner a certified firearms instructor for various US government agencies and programs and defense security companies, will also be offering intermittent tactical firearms training.
