North Carolina – This weekend the guest expert on Military Mainstream is Hannah Rudstam, a Cornell University researcher. Military Mainstream airs on The Talk Station Saturdays at 5:30pm and Sundays at 7:30am on FM 107.1 and WJNC 1240 AM.
Rudstam’s research revealed “65% of employers incorrectly believe veteran applicants must tell potential employers about their disabilities as well as 27 to 30% of employers are unsure about or did not agree with specific benefits such as improved customer relations of hiring veterans with disabilities”
“Hannah Rudstam shares strategies that disabled veterans should apply when job hunting," said Jaynine Howard, host of Military Mainstream and owner of Dream Catcher Business & Career Coaching. “The disabled veteran must research the company culture, be prepared to explain his or her disability and the cost to the employer.” “This is one episode you won’t want to miss.”
