-- One of the top private schools in PA, George School, has just announced the girl’s sports available for fall 2012. Girls at George School will be able to enjoy the challenges of a number of interscholastic sports this fall, and most of the teams will compete in the Friends Schools League against eight schools including Westtown, their oldest rival, with whom they share a spirited “Moose Point” rivalry for the Patterson Cup. George School varsity, junior varsity, third team, and developmental athletes also compete in an atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork, respect for opponents, and passion for the game.
In the fall, this PA prep school’s athletic fields will come alive with cheers and roars as the girls field hockey and soccer teams compete. The equestrian team goes through its paces in their two riding rings, preparing for weekend competitive adventures. When the cross country team hosts a prestigious invitational meet this fall, crowds of students will be sure to cheer the runners through Red Square and then hustle over to the finish line at the track. The tennis team fills their courts with the satisfying sounds of well-played matches. In addition to the enthusiastic fans, the football team is often cheered on by the George School cheerleaders, who proudly wear green and white on their sleeves and Cougar pride in their hearts!
Known as one of the best private schools in Bucks County, PA, the George School also offers an abundance of boys sports that are available during the fall season.
