“tbi…for women” TV Series highlights Joe Bonamassa & his new Charity

Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Palm Beach, FL  8/23/2012:  “tbi…for women” airs Season III of its “Back-to-School” TV Special helping its viewers make educated decisions concerning their families and their health this school year.  What better way to greet this fall semester than taking a closer look at music education curriculums available to our school kids, and a great charity working to keeping music education alive.

This Season, the producers of “tbi…the best info” investigate how expressing a child’s inner emotions through a creative outlet such as music or painting, can be instrumental in a child’s development.  With Budget cutbacks, and schools doing away with a lot of these arts programs, some artists and businesses have stepped up to help our kids.  “tbi…for women” speaks with blues musician Joe Bonamassa about his new charity, Keeping the Blues Alive, and it’s mission to keep music education in schools.

Bonamassa’s, Keeping the Blues Alive 501(c)(3) charity, seeks to promote blues music education by creating awareness about the art form and its impact on our culture.  Additionally, the charity strives to provide funding for music programs and educational scholarships for today’s school children.

Blues Music, the uniquely American art form, has been celebrated, embraced, and cherished for more than 100 years.  Keeping the Blues Alive 501(c)(3) aspires to foster and highlight the rich, inspirational history of Blues Music through Joe’s personal experience and global growth within the Blues/Rock community over the past 20 years.

Keeping the Blues Alive 501(c)(3) endeavors to stimulate and enhance both the passion and awareness of Blues Music by exposing students to its cultivation from African American poetry, spirituals, and work songs to it’s stars of late like BB King and Eric Clapton.   Kids interact with the multimedia content in the curriculum and are immersed in a message, that through perseverance, hard work, and dedication, one can achieve the dreams they desire.
