Priscilla Dames Addresses Chico’s Customers

Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Miami, FL August 23, 2012  As the founder and trainer for Wingspan Seminars, a conflict resolution company, Priscilla Dames has provided workshops such as Conflict and Parenting, Conflict in the Workplace and Combating Sexism.  As the Chairperson of the Women’s Business Council for  the Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce and co-author of How to Survive When Your Ship is Sinking, her charge has also been to support and encourage women to reach their goals even during times of crisis.  After the book signing and release in Chicago at the International Professional Women’s Network Conference, August 10-12th, Ms. Dames has done several radio interviews and is now having dialogues with customers at Chico’s, an upscale women’s apparel store.  The VIP W.O.W. (Wings On Women) Event focuses on conversations about wins that women have experienced during these past few years.
Ms. Dames expressed, “One of the ladies at the Indianapolis store shared that a huge win for her was talking her friend into going on an Alaskan cruise though she is in Stage 4 of cancer.  It was making her realize that life was not over.  Another sat awhile and shared the excitement of moving from a midlevel to a senior management position that also proffered her family’s relocation from Michigan to Indianapolis. With the war, unemployment and overall gloom and doom atmosphere today, people are delighted to talk about something positive. It reminds us that there are a lot of everyday wins in our lives. ”
