Shakespeare? The Astonishing "Excerpts from The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged)"

Can three gals really cover most of Shakespeare’s plays in about an hour? This fast-firing comedy does just that as it parodies most of the Shakespeare’s plays (plus the sonnets!) with only three performers in one act.

Aug. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- This play is full of energy as the characters run across the stage and keep you guessing how they will pull off the next play. Fast paced, witty, and physical, it’s full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike.

This is a production of the Youth Actors Guild  (YAG) of Bob Carter’s Actor’s Workshop & Repertory Company. The play, Excerpts from The Complete Works of Shakespeare (abridged) is by Adam Long, Daniel Singer, and Jess Winfield.
The show features an all-female cast: Sarah Hardwick from Lake Worth, Melissa Gonzalez and Michelly Gonzalez from West Palm Beach. Dates: Friday and Saturday September 7th and 8th at 8 p.m., and Sunday September 9th at 2 p.m. Tickets ijcva will be sold at the door only and are $10.

Bob Carter’s Actor’s Workshop & Repertory Company, Inc. is incorporated in the state of Florida to provide education and training in the theatre arts and to develop professional theatrical productions using primarily local talent. The corporation is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization and all contributions are tax deductible.
