Strategic eMarketing to Coordinate AEDC Social Media Outreach
Arcata Economic Development Corporation helps businesses meet the challenge of acquiring capital and re-financing and is now collaborating with Strategic eMarketing to increase its online presence via social media.
AEDC helps businesses meet the challenge of acquiring capital and re-financing that can help them fulfill their dreams of launching a new enterprise or expanding an existing business to the next level. For more than 30 years, AEDC has loaned over $47 million to local businesses that have helped entrepreneurs grow with the community.
With more communication with the public via social media and other avenues, AEDC hopes to extend its reach and help even more businesses attain their goals, said Program Director Susan Seaman. By developing and maintaining AEDC Facebook page and a soon-to-launch blog at http://www.aedc1.org/
This isn’t the first time AEDC and Strategic eMarketing have worked together -- Strategic eMarketing was a sponsor of Humboldt Lemonade Day and provided website design, social media management and blog management to http://humboldt.lemonadeday.org/
Several programs are available through AEDC, and the social media outreach and blogging will focus on educating businesses and young entrepreneurs about these opportunities.
