K Marketing Group's Management Team to Participate in Charity Kickball Tournament

Aug. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- On Friday afternoon, a charity kickball tournament which benefits JDRF will be held at Ford Field, home to the Detroit Lions.  Marketing firms from across the country will be participating, including K Marketing Group, Inc. which is a local firm located in Farmington Hills, MI.  Sam Striker and Musa Odeh will represent K Marketing in the tournament.

JDRF is a global organization which focuses on type 1 diabetes research.  Founded in 1970, their mission is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through that research and through advocacy.  Originally known as the "Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation", JDRF has refocused their attentions on helping all people afflicted with type 1 diabetes to live healthier, safer and easier lives.

Participants in the tournament will be given a tour of the Detroit Lions' locker rooms.  The tournament will take place directly on the playing field.  The fundraiser is expected to raise upwards of $2000, which will be put towards the diabetes research.
