"Domestic violence isn't pretty" David Wade Salon raises money and awareness for InterAct

Aug. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- RALEIGH, N.C.(AUGUST 22, 2012) - David Wade Salon (www.davidwadesalon.com), the only stylist studio with a 20 year history in the Glenwood South District of Raleigh, is having the Salon Cut-a-thon Sunday, September 16, 2012. In advance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month they will be cutting hair from 11:00 am till 4:00 pm, giving 100% of the proceeds to raise money to help InterAct, a private, non-profit, United Way agency that provides safety, support, and awareness to victims and survivors of domestic violence and rape/sexual assault.

"This helps so many people and families that need a safe place to go when faced with domestic violence. It especially helps the women and children," says David Wade, salon owner. This is the 10th event David Wade Salon has held raising over $20000.00 for InterAct.
