Aug. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- The International Chamber Artists (ICA) invite you to Discover Musical Treasures as they kick off their 2012-2013 season. ICA musicians will present a valiant concert showcasing music of Russian and French composers on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 4:00 PM at St. Gregory the Great Church, located at 5535 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60640.

The concert will offer a varied selection of bold music. ICA will perform Igor Stravinsky’s The Soldier’s Tale, Francis Poulenc’s Sextet for Piano and Wind Quintet, and rounding out the program will be André Jolivet’s Petite Suite for Flute, Viola and Harp.

“If you’ve said to yourself over the last year, ‘I wish I would have time to read a book,’” says Patrick Godon, ICA Founder and Artistic Director.  “Come to this concert and we’ll read you one – and what a shocking tale it is!”

ICA concerts are free with a suggested donation of $15.
