Bloomingdale's Features Jewelry by Liza Shtromberg Trunk Show during Fashion Week

Aug. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- LOS FELIZ, CA (August 21, 2012) – Jewelry by Liza Shtromberg (http://www.lizashtromberg.com), a premiere jewelry business dedicated to original and innovative design with a personalized customer experience, has announced their Fashion Week trunk show at Bloomingdale's Century City Plaza in Century City, CA from 10am – 6pm August 23rd, 24th, and 25th.  Meet the designer, Liza, and preview her one-of-a-kind handcrafted jewelry collections "Petra,” “Cocktail," and "Delight," unique collections with stunning pieces created using Sterling Silver and a variety of semi-precious stones.

An internationalist, Liza was born in Russia and immigrated with her family to Los Angeles from a small port town in Israel.  Daughter to an accomplished stonecutter and cameo designer, Liza found early inspiration from the stones her father brought home and began experimenting with jewelry design as a form of self-expression. As culture-curious kid in the ‘80s, she was especially drawn to raw materials. “I’ve always loved cultural jewelry – African jewelry, East Indian jewelry, I love to work with my hands.”  

Soon Liza was selling her designs on the streets of Los Angeles, and at the early age of 16 she began her own company.  In April 2000 she opened her first retail location in Los Feliz, which she currently sells from today.  Currently, Liza’s designs can be seen on actress/singer Blake Lively, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock and have been featured in several publications including In Style, US Weekly, and Lucky magazines.
