Humorous Lad-lit book “The Trouble with Girls” by Jonny Cox is published by New Generation P

This is the story of a man's search for the one person that popular myth tells us is waiting, somewhere. The quest leads Billy to tropic islands, the Rocky Mountains, the streets of Northern Ireland and bars across the world. The book gives the male perspective on why relationships are so difficult, aiming to redress the balance against Bridget Jones and Fifty Shades.

Billy’s search ends on Cyprus, the island of Aphrodite. There he gets petrol bombed. The Army Bitch is jealous. She sends him to the desert.

About the Author:

Jonny Cox is an ex-infantry officer living in Bedforshire, England, having moved there after returning from his last tour of military duty in Kandahar in Afghanistan.

“Things are merry,” said Sandy, sitting down. “I’m single now,” she said, resting a hand on my thigh.
“Me too,” said Mary, taking possession of my other leg. I smiled.
“I’m not,” I said, perhaps with a little regret.
The trouble with girls is that they always want what they can’t have. Mary looked around the table.
“Where is she then?”
“In London for the weekend.”
“Then she won’t know,” smiled Sandy, her hand sliding higher up my leg.
“And what she won’t know, won’t hurt her,” whispered Mary. I thought she might offer me an apple.
The trouble with girls is that you can’t resist them, certainly not two, and they were very tempting.
