How Many People Have You Hypnotized Today?

"Actually a better question might be how many people have you hypnotized this week," added Mark. There are some people who operate what Mark calls 'hypnosis factories. and attempt to see as many people as possible. "These people are more concerned with their financial situation than helping people," he continued.

Of course it is important to pay your bills to be able to keep your door open, but Johnson takes a different approach in both his hypnosis practice and his teaching of hypnosis. Hypnotherapy is an art, and requires different methods and techniques for different people. There are some Hypnotherapy Training Programs available that teach a standardized system for every client who comes to the office. There is an emphasis on the business of hypnosis and locking the clients into multiple sessions.

"My approach is to treat each client as an individual, and customize a session or series of sessions for that individual, rather than requiring everyone to come in for a series of 5 sessions regardless of how many sessions are actually required to resolve their problem," added Mark. He also makes sure that he instills this attitude into his Hypnotherapy Students in the classes he teaches. By putting his needs clients first he is able to help them in the best way possible, and he never has to worry about finances.

The effectiveness of hypnosis as opposed to other options should not be understated, it is a powerful way to resolve issues that have been going on for years with little to no progress when working with other modalities. When a hypnotist asks for over $1200 at the very first session, without allowing the client to  have an opportunity to experience the effects of hypnosis, it tends to give the profession a questionable character.

"I receive calls quite often from people who express concern over the high cost of hypnosis services, because they have been told the initial investment is so high," said Mark. After speaking with Mark about their problems and discovering that he truly cares about them first, his prospects will inquire about scheduling an appointment.

"These are the qualities I instill in my students during my Hypnotherapy Training Classes, and I follow up with them to make sure they continue to work in this way," Mark added. "From time to time I hear about my students from their clients who call me to inquire about Hypnotherapy Training," he continued.

There are different approaches to everything, and operating a successful hypnosis practice is no different. There are those who put themselves and their own financial well being first, then there are those who decide to put the needs of their clients and customers first. By following the latter approach, not only are you creating a better experience for those who come to you for assistance, you are also making the world a better place.

How many people have I hypnotized today? I hypnotized an 8 year old today, and today is a Sunday. Over the past week I hypnotized 8 people and one of them was a remote session via Skype. Not only do I work with clients remotely, I teach my students to do that as part of the Advanced Hypnotherapy Training.
