The Health Assessment Resource Center (HARC) Releases Powerful New Research Tool

HARC, Inc. announces the release of HARCSearch, a searchable online database of health data for Eastern Riverside County. The research tool is free to use, and displays relevant research in easy-to-read tables at the click of a button.
Aug. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- HARCSearch, an online database, is now available at no cost to community, non-profit, for-profit and government users to obtain current data on health and quality of life indicators.  This easy-to-use searchable database expands knowledge about the prevalence of local disease and mental health indicators, the use of health prevention measures, supports public health and security planning, and aids businesses to meet customers’ needs.

“HARCSearch is designed so users can easily locate and view summary tables presenting current data on local health and quality of life indicators,” announced Eileen Packer, HARC CEO.  “Nonprofits will use it to develop grant proposals, educators will use it in the classroom, and healthcare providers will use it for service planning.”

“HARCSearch provides access to the results of extensive telephone surveys conducted in Spanish and English by HARC in 2007 and 2010.  Data are presented in a clear tabular format that can be broken down by a number of demographics,” added Packer.

HARC is proud to present this resource.  It’s a virtual desktop library open to all that fills a gap in knowledge about health and quality of life right here in the Coachella Valley and Eastern Riverside County.”
HARC plans to add the results of its 2013 Community Health Monitor survey so that users can better understand the trends affecting all of us. Visit   to learn more and to start your own search.
