The current Honda Accord gets 34 highway miles per gallon, and the new Accord should improve on that number thanks to its all-new engines and transmissions. The car is also more aerodynamic, with a shorter body, also contributing to its better gas mileage.

The five-seat Accord will begin production in Marysville, Ohio in August. According to Honda, the MSRP for the 2013 Accord will be similar to that of the current model, which retails at $21,480.
