Aug. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Hopefully these Magento Videos will give you both a mile high overview as well as some good working knowledge on getting started with working with the Magento eCommerce Platform.  We show you how to install the sample data first in order to have some products to work with and so you don't have to install a bunch of dummy files.  Remember, you can not install the sample data db after Magento has been installed.  So, now you have some products - t-shirts, cameras, shoes and computers and this is generally what your site should look like but without the data when you first are setting it up.  This is showing Magento with the default template in the 3 column layout.  This can be changed to 2 columns and you can also purchase other themes.
