Follow on Google News | Tigo donates food items to children's homesTigo has donated an assortment of food items to Istiqama and Chakuwama Home and Orphanage in Sinza, in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. Chakuwama will also be receiving a year’s supply of electricity.
By: Tigo Sacks of sugar, flour, rice, boxes of juice and gallons of cooking oil were donated to Istiqama. One of the most immediate needs for Chakuwama is a regular source of electricity. Tigo is pleased to be donating a year’s supply of LUKU to light up their Home. "During this holy month it is important that we recognise those who are less fortunate,” said Ms Shisael. “Tigo is just as committed to caring for the community as it is in providing its customers with world-class products and services. The food items donated will come in time for the Eid celebrations,” Ramadan is a month of sharing and helping people in need.
