Kyle Kirkpatrick to present at IEC Chesapeake

Aug. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- LAUREL, Md.  – Kyle Kirkpatrick, CSP manager for Shermco Industries, will present ‘Why Train’ at the Maryland Crab Feast - Tradeshow and Open House Safety Roundtable. The event will be held at IEC Chesapeake, 8751 Freestate Drive in Laurel, Md., August 22, 2012.

There will be three speakers from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Kirkpatrick’s talk will have a strong slant toward electrical safety training, specifically focusing on NFPA 70E and Arc Flash.

“We’ll be talking about how to save yourself and others from severe injury and even death,” said Kirkpatrick. “If that doesn’t hold the attention of a room full of people looking forward to hot steaming plates of crab, nothing will.”

The roundtable will be followed by the Crab Feast – Tradeshow from 5pm – 8pm.

“Shermco has a premier vendor booth in the buffet room, so we hope everyone drops by to visit,” said Kirkpatrick.

IEC is a trade association representing 3,000 electrical contractors in 60 chapters across the U. S. The I.E.C. Chesapeake has more than 150 members throughout Delaware, Maryland, Northern Virginia, Pennsylvania, Upper North Carolina and Washington DC.
