The BCAE’s Brew and Chew Series Continues with Chef Mary Dumont & Brooklyn Brewery
Dumont was named “Best New Chef” by Food and Wine Magazine in 2006 and is the executive chef at the award-winning Harvest Restaurant located in Cambridge, MA, where she creates New England style cuisine with a French twist. She competed on Food Network’s third season of “The Next Iron Chef” and later went head-to-head with vyzpt Iron Chef Cat Cora on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America”.
The Brooklyn Brewery is one of the top craft beer producers in the world and distributes its beer in 25 states and 20 countries. The brewery offers and impressive array of flavorful beers sure to enhance Dumont’s cuisine as well as anything students might go on to cook up at home.
Get ready to raise your glass and life your forks! These perfect pairings will insure that both plates and pint glasses are emptied.
