New England Ghost Towns 2013 Calendar
Aug. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- David Fiske has put together a very interesting and unusual calendar using photographs taken while on excursions to abandoned places in New England (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont). The New England Ghost Towns Calendar is available from lulu.com.

The picturesque calendar includes scenes from the former Perkins Township at Swan Island, Maine; the decommissioned Fort Baldwin at Phippsburg, Maine, the old iron works at Mine Hill Preserve in Roxbury, Connecticut; a long-abandoned mill at Gay City State Park in Hebron, Connecticut; an elaborate retaining wall at Dana Common near Petersham, Massachusetts; remains of the Marble Palace at Ashintully Gardens in Tyringham, Massachusetts; a cemetery in the woods at Little River State Park in Waterbury, Vermont; a crumbling iron furnace at Furnace Grove in Bennington, Vermont; an old well from Monson Center in New Hampshire; the ruins of a staircase from Madame Sherri’s Castle in Chesterfield, New Hampshire; a scene from Napatree Point at Westerly, Rhode Island; and a cellar hole at George B. Parker Woodland in Coventry, Rhode Island.

The calendar is being sold at a discounted price of just $16.19 (10% off its list price of $17.99).
