New Music from Independent Artist Sophia Shy

Aug. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- “I started pretty young…it started off with vocals…I really love singing…it was from [watching] these iconic singers…” Little did Sophia Shy realize that what started off as a kid’s hobby was someday going to develop the drive she needed to put her well on the way to becoming such a singer herself. Inspired by music moguls like Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Madonna, this solo pop star has very tough tasks ahead, as she has set her standards so high; but tasks to which she is oh so equal!  For a new artist having just started working with a hit producer, 7Aurelius signed to 700Label, last year, it is impressive that she has four singles to date. She also writes some of her own lyrics.


“Won’t Stop Your Love” is Sophia’s latest masterpiece. What better way to start the summer than with this hot new single!

The animated video came out a few weeks ago and it is very captivating. It tells a beautiful and riveting tale of how she has had to become a superhero in the quest for her love. This track can also be heard right here on Vyzion Radio.


Referring to her latest single “Won’t Stop Your Love,” she says: “That’s not how soft I wanted to sing really…my voice is not that soft. I have a big voice.” Sometimes the needs of the industry require an artist to perform in the least convenient fashion. But this wonderful ability to transition seamlessly outside of her comfort zone is truly a testament to her mastery.


Even though release dates have not yet been determined, fans certainly do want to keep an eye out for upcoming singles, “Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” and “Break Your Heart Tonight.” While her latest single leaves one to expect nothing less than perfection, Sophia promises to dazzle us with even more of herself.
