Inspirational Leader’s Book Release At Hotel Renaissance Chicago

Aug. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Sherry is a Chicago native that grew up in the Henry Horner projects and graduated from Richard T. Crane High School.  At the age of nineteen, she left Chicago and joined the Navy, advancing to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer while taking specialized leadership industry courses and earning prestigious commendations for her stellar service.  Additionally, she was selected as the 2005 Vice Chief of Naval Operations Shore Sailor of the Year for the entire Navy. She is truly an asset to the Navy and her model for success can be a beacon for those on a journey toward success.

Sherry’s book Strength Is in the Struggle: Charting Your Path for Personal Success is a guide for her readers along the journey toward success, showing her readers that they are not alone in the struggles they experience.  She inspires one to turn their life to the path they want to follow by overcoming insurmountable obstacles.

Sherry will be holding a book signing on Saturday, August 11, 2012  from 5:30 to 7:00 pm on the third floor of the Hotel Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel, 1 West Wacker Drive in Chicago. Attendees will have the opportunity to be in the presence of an exceptional Sailor, leader, and inspirational author.
