Introducing The Birthright Series by Local Author, Jacci Turner

Aug. 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Jacci was in an airplane on the way to Costa Rica when she started thinking about what would happen if God started giving spiritual gifts to people with no context for them. This idea birthed the series. The Cage is followed by The Bar, which is available at the same retailers. The Lamb, the third book in the series, will be released shortly.
While many books are available for teens, this series offers a hopeful outlook without being preachy. It includes characters that deal with difficult life issues such as sex trafficking, child abuse and cutting, without being dark or depressing.

About Jacci Turner
Jacci has been a Reno resident for the last twenty-eight years. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has worked at many local schools as a school counselor. She currently works as a pastoral care specialist with a large interdenominational Christian Denomination.
Jacci lives with her husband David (also a therapist) and their dog Rocky. She enjoys working with students and generally feels hopeful about the world.
