By: Arnold Stalk, PhD Local businessman and community developer Arnold Stalk has been appointed to the Executive Advisory Board of the 100 Black Men of Las Vegas. “I am so honored to have been asked to join the Executive Advisory Board of the 100 Black Men of Las Vegas. I hope to use my experience in the Southern Nevada community to be of service to this wonderful and important organization. I will continue to be of service to our community in Southern Nevada and I am grateful to the 100 Black Men of Las Vegas for this opportunity.” WHO: The 100 Black Men of America was formed in 1963 by a group of prominent leaders, including Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame legend Jackie Robinson, to improve the quality of life and enhance the educational opportunities of African Americans in a unified, collaborative, pragmatic effort. There are over 103 chapters with over 10,000 combined members in several countries. As a professor of architecture, he has taught and lectured at California State University, Northridge; Southern California Institute of Architecture; Mr. Stalk has served on the Board of Trustees of Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill of Southern Nevada, United Way of Southern Nevada, The Shade Tree Shelter, Christmas in April, Greater Las Vegas, American Red Cross of Southern Nevada, Heaven Can Wait Animal Society, Variety Early learning Center Advisory Board, The Foundation for Recovery and is currently is a Trustee of SHARE and Veteran’s Village, Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Stalk was recognized with the National Daily Points of Light Award from the White House, President George H.W. Bush and President George W.
