Aug. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Chicago, IL - Studies show that speaking in front of others ranks among the top fears people struggle with; it’s comparable to fears of illness, flying, heights, terrorism, or even death. Yet we all have to do it, whether we're delivering a toast at an event or presenting information at a work meeting. But what would be possible if you could find ease, calm, and your very own right voice for speaking in public?

Fresh off her nine-stop European ‘Breakthrough’ tour of Right Voice For You, celebrated musical theater performer, vocal coach, and speaker Blossom Benedict is bringing the Right Voice magic to the Chicago area in an evening session at the Hilton Orrington/Evanston on Saturday, September 8, 2012, from 7 to 9:30 PM; registration opens at 6 PM.

Pre-event registration by September 3rd is available at http://www.joyofbeingalive.com (click the Classes tab, or go to the direct link below) with early-bird pricing of $50; walk-in tickets are subject to availability and are $75.

Right Voice For You is a workshop that assists people in finding and sharing their voice and what they have to say in the world. The process has provided remarkable and demonstrable results for thrilled attendees over and over again, including Benedict herself.

As a struggling actress and singer in New York City, Benedict stumbled upon the Access Consciousness™ tools developed by founder Gary Douglas and decided they were exactly what the performing and business world was missing out on; during the past two years, she has brought Right Voice For You to thousands of people in over 14 countries.

Benedict points out that Right Voice For You is unlike anything else she’s encountered in terms of vocal training or building confidence. “It’s not about technique, answers, perfection, or performance,” she says. “This workshop is about you getting out of self-judgement and finding greater access to your own creativity and voice. The odd thing is, when we start from this place of working with your inner being rather than a focus on outer performance, the external aspects of public speaking begin to shift and fall into line.”

One attendee from a California session has said this about her Right Voice For You experience:

“Aside from the fact that my sales doubled and I won a National Sales Award, everything in my life changed after taking this class! By shifting what was 'stuck' in my voice, for the first time I was more present and able to talk, sing, giggle and make choices for me. Who would have thought that a voice class could change your entire life? See for yourself and take this awesome class.”

And a participant in Sweden said this:

"Your playfulness, ease and sharpness inspired me to go to places where I haven´t thought or dreamt about going with my self and my voice. New possibilities opened up and I had so much fun and I wanted to explore more and more... Thank YOU for your contribution and the inspiration. Looking forward to next class!”

The Right Voice For You workshop kicks off Benedict’s week-long engagement at the Hilton Orrington, with a variety of workshops and sessions based on the popular and transformative Access Consciousness™ tools and processes. Benedict is also available for private coaching sessions. A free Right Voice For You video series is available at her website, www.blossombenedict.com.

For anyone that’s uneasy (or even terrified) about public speaking but would like to experience a shift, Right Voice For You might be just the ticket to your own speaking success.

Attendee questions about the event can be directed to local organizer Jennie Landfield at 773-814-0290 or happyjennie@hotmail.com.
