Follow on Google News | Christopher Priest's New Short Film "The Stooge" Casts Lead ActressAfter a nationwide search, Actress Rheannon Slover has been cast as the leading female role of Angela in Christopher Priest's new short film, The Stooge.
The Stooge, produced by Gabriel Gonzalez, Tom Joyner (Jaws) and Jason Fenton, will be directed by Uruguayan director Rogelio Fojo (also producer/editor of the short film) and shot by world-renowned cinematographer Nancy Schreiber. After a nationwide search by casting director Anissa Williams, The Stooge welcomed Actress Rheannon Slover to the cast this week to play the leading female role of Angela. Rheannon Slover began her career at the age of 7 in commercials and as a professional dancer with Marguerite Derricks’ dance company. At the age of 13 she landed the lead role of Molly in the internationally syndicated television series Masked Rider for 5 seasons. At 14 she began modeling with Elite Models and in her late teens she took a hiatus from the entertainment industry to study and teach kundalini yoga. After living in a Sikh ashram she made the move to Amritsar, India to study classical Indian Music with her Ustaad (Music Master). Finishing her B.A. program in Raag at Khalsa College she made her way back to the states to continue her acting career.
