SteadyRain and Missouri Botanical Garden Honored with Two Communicator Awards for Web Development

Aug. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- SteadyRain, a full-service digital agency located in St. Louis, Missouri, announces award wins from the 2012 Communicator Awards for work with the Missouri Botanical Garden (http://www.missouribotanicalgarden.org). SteadyRain and the Garden were honored with the Award of Excellence for the Missouri Botanical Garden’s site structure and navigation as well as the Award of Distinction in the Travel/Tourism/Nature Website categories.
   
In 2010, SteadyRain was asked to bring a cohesive approach to the Garden’s digital landscape. The scope of the project included redesigning the look of the website, installing the user-friendly content management system DotNetNuke (DNN) (http://www.steadyrain.com/dotnetnuke.aspx), and developing custom DNN modules to better manage the flow of site information.

As the result of an intensive review of the current website and several affiliated sites, SteadyRain and the Garden launched the redesign and development of the award-winning site in 2011. The web development and design (http://www.steadyrain.com/web-development.aspx) featured enhanced navigation, custom design and color palettes for each site segment, as well as dynamic content relevant to the many audiences that reside under the Missouri Botanical Garden brand.

The 18th annual Communicator Awards was sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of Visual Arts, which recognized outstanding work in marketing and communications.
