Clark Seif Clark Executive Elected as IAQA’s 1st Vice President

Aug. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- The Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) mission statement describes, “...a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the exchange of indoor environmental information, through education and research, for the safety and well being of the general public. IAQA was established in 1995 and is the nation’s largest IAQ trade association with over 3,000 members and over 30 local chapters.”  

Last week, the IAQA held their annual officer’s election for the 2012-2013 time periods. Among the new officers announced was Derrick Denis, CIEC, CIAQP, of Clark Seif Clark, Inc.   Mr. Denis was elected to the position of IAQA’s First Vice President.  He has made a name for himself throughout the indoor air quality (IAQ) industry due to his past positions within the IAQA which have included Vice President, Treasurer, Chapter Relations Committee Chair and more.  Derrick is also the current Director of the Phoenix, Arizona Chapter of the IAQA.  

Derrick has been a frequent contributor of in-depth articles about various IAQ issues that have been published in many of the industry’s most prestigious publications.  In his current position with CSC, as their Vice President of Indoor Environmental Quality, he has been able to leverage his extensive knowledge of IAQ issues with one of the West Coast and Southwest’s premier indoor air quality and health and safety consulting firms.

“It’s an honor to be elected to this important role at the Indoor Air Quality Association,” reported Derrick.  “I hope to use my experiences with the IAQA and my knowledge of the indoor air quality industry to expand upon and further the goals of the association.”
