Concordia University, St. Paul Announces Catch the Olympic Spirit in the Classroom

The Olympic Games are more than just another sporting event; they are a celebration of competition, perseverance and patriotism. Teachers can also use the Olympics to create an engaging lesson plan to bridge academics and physical activity.
Aug. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Concordia Univeristy, St. Paul, a liberal arts university in St. Paul, shares Olympic-themed activity ideas to excite students for physical education.

CSP released a post yesterday title, "Catch the Olympic Spirit in the Classroom," found

"Every four years, athletes from countries around the world compete in various summer sports, ranging from traditional sports such as track and field and gymnastics to unconventional events such as table tennis and shooting. This year’s athletes will compete in 28 sporting categories. While families at home cheer on their favorite athletes, you can incorporate this same spirit of the games into your daily lesson plans to excite students for physical education," states CSP.
