LG continues the spirit of giving during the holy month of Ramadan.
Jeddah, 6th August, 2012- In line with its corporate social responsibility beliefs, LG Electronics once again organised Ramadan Iftar in Jeddah inviting visitors from Al Bir charity organization in Jeddah along with LG media club members.
Ramadan Iftar was organised in an aim to strengthen the social responsibility factor and also to thank the local media in celebration of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The events started off with welcoming of guests & media and followed by iftar and a welcome speech by Mr. John Lee, President of LG Electronics KSA delivered few words to welcome the invitees. The evening was concluded with kids to enjoy the games and rides at Shallal theme park.
Mr. John Lee said “It gives us great pleasure to have the presence of visitors from Al Bir charity organization in Jeddah who attended the Iftar with us in Jeddah. This is our way of activating CSR plan informally, and we hope to see more opportunities for interaction between ourselves and our media friends in Riyadh, Dammam & Jeddah as well as the key charity organizations in the kingdom in the near future.
Mr. Lee added" We are also thankful to our media friends and appreciate all the efforts they undergo to make our services and products known to KSA consumers, and our Media club is our way of honouring & thanking their continual support, their diligence and loyalty in communicating our news to the public. A similar event, Ramadan Iftar for media club members in Riyadh was held on the 12th of August in Riyadh Sheraton hotel, where LG media club members & their families have spent a memorable evening at Sheraton Riyadh. According to Mr. John Lee “this is a good opportunity for us to welcome and meet our media club members & media friends again in Riyadh.”
