Aug. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Bellevue, Washington, August 7, 2012 - The newest addition to a different type of web application was recently launched by Duccats, a Bellevue, Washington LLC. Borrow Keeper helps lower the risk of loaning things to others by aiding their return in an unobtrusive but effective way. Borrow Keeper joins Commitment Keeper as a part of Accountability Apps, http://accountabilityapps.com, a web application designed to help people hold others more accountable, or to be more accountable themselves, in various ways.
Borrow Keeper is a private, “non-social network” application. Only the specific borrower and owner are able to see the borrowed item. Borrow Keeper features an “agreement engine” that ensures the items borrowed have been agreed to by both the owner and borrower before it is locked in. Another part of the program’s accountability model is the resolution feedback. Whether the borrowed item was successfully returned or not becomes part of the member’s on-line record.
Borrow Keeper is intended to be used by anybody who wants to help others by lending their things. Good examples are items that often get loaned and forgotten are books, tools, toys, sports equipment, dishes, and household utensils. The Accountability Apps dashboard will keep both the borrower and the owner informed of the status of the item indefinitely, so that there can be no misunderstanding.
Duccats is focused on developing useful and unique applications for creative people of integrity all over the world.
